How it works

Install WorqLog

Download and launch the macOS app. Grant Accessibility and Calendar permissions when prompted — that is the full setup.

Add your extensions

Install the VS Code extension from the Marketplace and the browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.

Work normally

WorqLog runs silently in the background. Sessions, projects, and AI usage are tracked and organized automatically.

Everything you need

All the signal, none of the noise

Automatic tracking

No timers. WorqLog watches window focus and infers your work sessions automatically from running applications and open projects.

AI usage insights

See exactly how much time you spend with Copilot, Claude, and other AI tools — broken down per project and per day.

Meeting analytics

Calendar-linked meeting logging with optional transcription, attendee count, and cost-per-minute estimates.

Git integration

Commit history overlays your time data so you can trace effort directly to delivered code, files, and branches.

Project breakdown

Hours are attributed to projects automatically from window titles, workspace paths, and browser URLs.

Unified timeline

macOS app, VS Code, and browser tab events merge into a single, searchable daily activity stream.

Privacy first

Your data never leaves
your Mac.

WorqLog stores everything in a local SQLite database on your machine. There is no account, no subscription, no analytics server, and no internet connection required for core features.
